A guide about how to use BlackBerry Recovery
BlackBerry Recovery is a useful and easy-to-use application which enables you to recover lost data or extract information from a BlackBerry backup and BlackBerry SD Card. When you have finished the installing, click the BlackBerry Recovery icon to launch the program, and plug in your BlackBerry SD card into your computer. Then you’ll see the main window.

Part 1: Use Backup File Recovery Mode
If you have made a BlackBerry backup with BlackBerry Desktop Manager before. You can choose "Backup File Recovery" Mode. Step 1: Run BlackBerry Recovery and Click "Backup File Recovery".
Step 2: Choose BlackBerry backup file (.bbb or .ipd) to scan.
Step 3: After the scanning has completed, It will list different file types, including Content Store, Contact, Message, Note, Call, Calendar&Reminder, MMS Message.
Step 4: Preview your backup file content and select them.
Step 5: Save them on the computer. Different file type will be saved in different folder.
Part 2: Use Memory Card Recovery Mode
Since BlackBerry device supports to use SD card to store the document files, audio/video files, photos and more. Memory Card Recovery mode to recover deleted or lost files from blackberry media memory card.
Step 1: Plug in your BlackBerry SD card into your computer.
Step 2: Run BlackBerry and Click "Memory Card Recovery".
Step 3: Choose your memory card in the list to scan.
Step 4: After the scanning has completed, there are four file types: Image, Video, Auido, Document .
Step 5: Select files and click "Save" button to save them on the computer.
Part 3: How to activate BlackBerry Recovery
The demo version of BlackBerry Recovery supports scan and preview for free. But the demo version can't save backup files and media files to the computer. So if you need use those feature, you need to activate BlackBerry Recovery. When you complete the scanning, you will find the "Activate" button on the top right corner. When you click it, there will be a pop-up window to input your license email and code, if you don't have a license, you need purchase BlackBerry Recovery license on the store.
