When you open Safari app on your Mac and iPhone, if a website asks you to create a new password, and tap or click the password field, it will pop-up the Suggest New Password window to create a unique, hard-to-guess password is automatically suggested when you click the password field. But many Mac and iPhone users don’t like the “strong Password suggestion” option, how to remove it?
Safari uses AutoFill feature to automatically file in credit card information, contact information, and user name and passwords, the Strong Password Suggestions belongs to Safari AutoFill. To disable Safari Strong Password Suggestions, you need to disable the Safari AutoFill.
Disable Safari Strong Password Suggestion on iPhone
Go to iPhone Settings -> Passwords -> Password Options -> Turn off AutoFill Passwords.
And then go to iPhone Settings -> Safari -> turn off AutoFill.
Disable Safari Strong Password Suggestion on Mac
Open System Settings app on Mac, go to Passwords -> Password Options -> Turn off AutoFill Passwords.
Open Safari app on Mac, go to Safari Settings -> AutoFill -> unselect the AutoFill web forms.
