Preserving Metadata for Voice Memo Files on Mac

When transferring voice memo files, the original date, timestamp, title, and other metadata might be lost. If you need to keep or edit metadata for multiple voice memos, consider using the Media Meta app — a video and audio metadata editor.

• Download and install Media Meta on your Mac.

• Import the voice memo files into Media Meta. Select the file, adjust the recording date and metadata as needed, and click Save Changes. With these steps, your voice memos will retain their metadata, making organization and editing easier.
