If you are an iPhone and Mac user, it is convenient to synchronize photos, messages, and contacts between iPhone and Mac. But recently some Mac users report that they can send but not receive messages on the Mac. As a result, many messages/iMessages cannot be synchronized between iPhone and Mac. Is there any way to solve this annoying problem? Don’t worry, there are some things you can do to fix it.
Change SMS/iMessages Setting on your iPhone and Mac
Go to iPhone Settings -> Messages -> Switch off iMessages -> Switch on iMessage again, and then select Send & Receive Address.
Open Messages application on Mac, go to Messages Preferences -> iMessages tab -> Sign out and sign in again -> and then select Send & Receive Address.
2. Use Fone Rescue
If you follow all the steps above, the messages between iPhone and Mac still cannot be synced. You can use the third-party application Fone Rescue to download messages/iMessages from the iPhone to Mac. Download and install Fone Rescue on your Mac. Connect your iPhone with the Mac.
Run Fone Rescue application and select the “Recover From iOS Device” mode, and then click the Start Scan button to scan the iPhone device.
When the scan is completed, click Contacts & Messages & Call log tab -> Messages, it will list all message conversations from the iPhone, select them and click the export button to save them on the Mac.
