Some widgets on your Home and Lock screens can drain your battery. Touch and hold the lock screen until the Customize button appears, tap Customize, and select Lock Screen. You can also tap the Remove button to remove the widget, then tap outside the widget to exit.

Swipe up on the app preview to close it.
