How to fix No Service Issue after update iOS 12.1.2

Some iPhone users feedback that their iPhone could not get a signal after updating to iOS 12.1.2. Contact the local carrier but did not resolve. This is very frustrating when your iPhone is experiencing the same problem. It can't make and receive phone calls, use SMS/MSS message service with cellular data. If you are struggling with the problem, this article will provide some solutions to help you.

1. Restart iPhone

Restart your iPhone. After all, most mobile phone problems can be fixed after reboot. For iPhone X and later, press and hold the Side button and either volume button until the slider appears. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off. After your device turns off, press and hold the Side button again. For iPhone 8 or earlier, press and hold the Top (or Side) button until the slider appears. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off. After your device turns off, press and hold the Top (or Side) button again until you see the Apple logo.

2. Re-insert SIM card

The SIM card is not plugged in properly, or its position has moved. Problems with SIM card connections can cause this problem. So we need to take out the SIM card and put it back. To pop open the iPhone SIM tray , insert a paper clip or a SIM-eject tool into the hole beside the tray. Push in, towards the iPhone, the SIM tray will eject from the iPhone. After you remove your SIM card from the tray, Place the SIM card into the tray, and insert the tray into the device completely and in the same orientation that you removed it.

3. Reset Network settings

Go to iPhone Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. Enter the iPhone passcode.

4. Check iPhone model

If you are using iPhone 7, and the model number of of your iPhone 7 is A1660, A1780, A1779, it may have this "no service" problem. 5. iPhone hard issue

If the above ways still can't fix your issue, it may be a hardware issue, you need to make a Genius Bar appointment to fix or replace the hardware.

Other tried methods : Downgrade to the old version iOS 12. 1.1 and restore iPhone can't solve the issue.
