1. Download and install Fone Rescue on the computer which you made the iPhone backup before.

2. Run Fone Rescue, then select “Recover From iTunes backup” or “Recover From iCloud backup” mode, here we recover iPhone text message from the iTunes backup, so we select “Recover From iTunes backup” mode.

3. You will see iPhone backup, iPad backup and other iOS device backups, select your old iPhone backup and click the Start Scan button.

4. After the scan is complete, you can view all iPhone backup data in Fone Rescue. Select the Contact & Messages & Call log tab -> Message, you will see all iPhone messages.

5. Preview iPhone messages and select the message conversation, then click the Export the selected messages or Recover button.
