Before we updated iOS 13, when we received photos from text messages on the iPhone, we could open the photos in the message thread for preview, then long press the photos to save them to the iPhone. But after updating iPhone to iOS 13.1.2, it will not work when we save the photo using the same operation. After a long press, there is no save pop-up button above the photo. 1. Long Press the photo and other attachment in the text thread

Do not open the photo in text thread, just select a photo and long Press the photo in text thread, it will pop-up the Copy, Save and More… , then choose Save button.

2. Open a photo in text thread to Save

Click a photo in the text thread to open, then click the share button, Swipe up the share window, you will see Save Image and more operations, choose Save Image button.

3. How to save multiple photos or all photos in the text thread

If you have many photos and other media attachment in some text threads, it takes a lot of time to save them one by one. There is no option to save multiple photo or all photos in the text thread on iPhone. But we use the third-party app to save them.

a). Download and install Fone Rescue on the computer

b). Connect the iPhone with an USB cable, run Fone Rescue and click the Start Scan button to scan iPhone device.

c). When the scan is complete, you can view and save all photos and other message attachments from the text thread.
