Don’t use rice—No matter what you have heard, don’t put the iPhone in rice, as just leaving it out to air dry actually works much better. Don’t turn on for 24 hours – Then, after it is as dry as you can get it, don’t turn it on for at least one to two days. Then, try turning it on. If it works, great, but if not, try charging it for a few hours or replacing the battery.
