1. Check voice and video files for corruption

2. Free up iPhone storage

Another reason for this problem is that the iPhone has not enough storage space to download and store WhatsApp voice and video files. So we need to check the iPhone storage space and release the iPhone storage when free storage is not enough. Go to iPhone Storage -> Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage to view. Delete some applications from the iPhone device to get more storage space.

3. Delete some WhatsApp chat messages in the conversation

Some WhatsApp group conversation may contain thousands or more messages, and then too much information loading can lead a high iPhone, at which point the video may get stuck or not play. Backup all data in these WhatsApp group chats with WhatsApp Pocket, and delete them to start a new thread.
