Yesterday I exported some photos from the Mac Photos application, and I noticed that the exported photos had wrong Creation date, the creation date is the data and time when imported from Mac, not the date the photo was taken. No matter whether I selected the "Export unmodified original photos ..." or "Export 1 photo ..." option, the created date will not change. How to fix this issue?
I tried to access the photo library folder, but there is no master folder to store all original photos in the current macOS Catalina, instead of an original photo folder containing photos have been renamed. In addition, there are lots of photos in the photo library, so it is difficult to find all the required photos in different folders.
Finally I used Photo Exifer to change the created date to the camera date of the exported photos.
A). Download and install Photo Exifer on the computer
B). Import the exported photos into Photo Exifer, select all exported photos and click the Quick Action button, and click the Copy camera date to created date menu item.
C). Then the created date of exported photos have been changed to the camera data.
