As one of the most retro and most personalized camera brands, Fujifilm Digital Camera is loved by many photographers. We can choose JPEG or RAW file format to record the image. To change image quality settings, press MENU/OK in the shooting display and select the I.Q.(IMAGE QUALITY SETTING) tab. Select FINE or NORMAL option to record JPEG images, select RAW option to record RAW images, or FINE+RAW option or NORMAL+RAW option to record both JPEG and RAW images. After taking a lot of RAW photos with a Fuji digital camera, if you accidentally deleted some RAW photos, or lost Raw photos during transfer to a computer with the memory card or other reasons. How to retrieve or recover those Fujifilm Raw photos?
From the Fujifilm online document https://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/compatibility/card/x/, we know that it uses Toshiba, SanDisk, Sony or Lexar memory card( 16GB~ 128GB) to store the photo data. Fujifilm camera uses the RAF file format as the RAW photo format on Fujifilm E550, E900, F-600XR, F-700, F-900EXR, S9600, S9500, S6500FD, S5600/S5200, S5000, S200EXR, S5 Pro, S3 Pro, S2 Pro, X100S, X100, X20, X10, XQ1, X-Pro 1, X-A2, X-E1, X-E2, X-T1, X-T10, HS10. V1.02, HS20EXR. What we will do is to recover the RAF photos from the camera memory card.
Before we started this test, we removed a few Raw photos that had been taken from the Fujifilm X-T10 camera. And we take the memory card out of the camera. Then use a card reader to insert or connect with the computer.
Next, we download and install Fireebok Data Recovery on the computer(PC or Mac)
Run Fireebok Data Recovery, select the memory card in the product.
First, we choose the Deleted Recovery mode, and if the deletion happened recently, it will be completed quickly. After the scan is complete, we can find and preview the deleted RAF photos in the product. Large photos cannot be previewed in the product and recover to the computer for viewing.
If you can't find lost RAF photos with the Deleted Recovery mode, go back to the product first interface, and choose the Deep Recovery mode. (Tips: if the memory card has been formatted, please use Volume Recovery mode before using the Deep Recovery mode).
Wait a while to complete the scanning, and you will find the RAF photos in the result view. Then recover them to the computer. If you used the RAW+jpeg setting for Fujifilm camera, recover the jpeg photo format will be a good choice.
