I have several browsers installed on my Mac, in addition to Safari, there are Chrome, Firefox and Opera, so I have multiple browser bookmarks, is there any way to merge or combine bookmarks of all these browsers into one html file? I tried to export them from the browser , then using a text tool to edit them, but I gave up because of many bookmarks and bookmark directories. Fortunately, I found a better solution. This article I will share how to use One Bookmark to merge different browser bookmarks on Mac.
1. Download and install One Bookmark on the Mac
2. Quit running browser, then run One Bookmark. (If you’re using macOS Mojave and Catalina, please add One Bookmark.app to the System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Full Disk Access list)
3. Chose Manage All Bookmarks, which can organize, sync and export all browser bookmarks.
4. It can sort all bookmarks, and we can create a new bookmark folder, then move different bookmarks to the created bookmark folder.
There may be many same bookmarks from the different browser, we can remove duplicate bookmarks and dead bookmarks with “Find the duplicate bookmark” and “Find the unreachable bookmark” feature.
5. After all bookmark editing work is completed, click the “Export bookmarks” button to save and extract the bookmark content. Then all edited different browser bookmarks will be saved in a html file. And you can transfer it to another computer or, import the browser again.
