Three ways to stop the delete message confirmation in iOS 11.3

Since Apple release iOS 11.3 on Mar 29, 2018, many iPhone users has updated to the newest iOS 11.3, when you try to delete a text message. It will pop-up the delete message confirmation: "Would you like to delete this conversation?". You need choose the Delete option to complete the deletion. Obviously Apple added this 2 step process to prevent users from accidentally deleting their information. but many iPhone users are not used to it. So is there any settings or solution to avoid the delete Message confirmation?

The 2 steps delete message confirmation happens only when you swipe left over the conversation that you want to delete the a single whole conversation. So we can use the other deletion solution to avoid this feature.

1. Use Edit in the upper left corner in Messages

Open Messages in your iPhone, tap Edit in the upper-left corner. Then select the circle next to the conversation and tap Delete in the bottom-right corner. It will delete your selected conversation without any delete message confirmation.

2. Delete in a Message conversation

Open Messages in your iPhone, access a message conversation, touch and hold the message bubble that you want to delete, then tap More. Tap the delete icon, then tap Delete Message. If you want to delete all messages in the thread tap Delete All, in the upper-left corner. Then tap Delete Conversation.

3. Provide feedback to Apple

There is no setting or option to disable the feature in current 11.3 version. But we can leave the suggestion to apple to add the option to enable or disable this 2 steps delete message confirmation in next iOS update. And you can leave Apple a feedback here iPhone feedback - Apple . If enough users think this is necessary, I think apple's next upgrade might consider it.
